DBMonitor how to use

I have some trouble that im trying to track down. The DB monitor seams the right aproach, but how i get it working? I cant find any documentation anywhere. When i start it nothing happens, even if i turn on "debug". Have i missed something?

Got it, its an component that needs to be dropped into the form. The last component on the MYDAC palette.
