Can not get Fast reports demo to work, it's driving me nuts!!!

Hi,
I have been fooling around for over 1 hour trying to get the Fast Report package to install in Delphi 2006. The demo only comes with packages for up to Delphi 7 and no matter what I do the darn thing won't install.
I tried renaming the Delphi 7 packages with a 100 postfix instead of the 7 but that did not help, then it kept complaining it could not find a dependent package, but that package was plainly visible in the bpl folder.

Has anyone got this to work with D2006, and if so would you mind sharing what needs to be done to get it to work?

Or could the CoreLab people please update the Fast Reports demo so it works with versions of Delphi newer than D7?

We will consider adding these packages in the future. Meanwhile you can try to make such packages using FastReport tool. Search for "NewEngine.dpr" in the FastReport installation directory.
