I cannot access a database using MyDac H E L P

Hello,

First of all this is not my first try using MyDac at customer side.
(I have installed a number of programs)

The ip number of the MySql server machine is 192.168.1.2.

The client machine ip number is 192.168.1.1.

The database connection is good because if I use Ems MySql manager I can connect to is without any error.

However if I just drop a TMyConnection on a form and set the values
and try to connect the error you can access below occurs:
(can't connect to MySql server, socket error)

And I double checked the user name the password and the Ip address.
(by the way the whole thing works using the local "localhost" database).

Is this a bug that relates somehow to a MySql server parameter?

It is very important since the customer is very mad that he can use the program only on one machine.

If you are sure that host name and port number are set correctly, please temporarily disable firewall or other software that can block connection request.
