Error on connecting to Azure Database for MySQL Server

Hi,
I am using dbForge Studio for MySQL 9.0.304 to connect to Azure Database for MySQL 5.7.29. On Test Connection I get:

The 'INFORMATION_SCHEMA.SESSION_VARIABLES' feature is disabled; see the documentation for 'show_compatibility_56'

Actually if show_compatibility_56=ON is set the connection is working. But this setting is no option for us.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance for the support.

We were not able to reproduce it.
Could you please double-check if the server version is indeed 5.7.29 and provide us a screenshot of the error?

Server version is 5.7.29.
Actually connection succeeded now. I typed in the database name into the connection dialogue instead of letting him enumerating databases. But not totally sure whether this was helping.
