ODBC Quickbooks 64 bit driver missing values

Post by davephillips » Sat 09 Nov 2019 23:50

I am using the trial for ODBC for Quickbooks 64-bit driver.

I am able to install the driver successfully.

In Excel, I can connect to the ODBC driver successfully through a power query and retrieve the data in the Account table. I see all values there.

In Excel VBA, when I open an ADODB connection using the same ODBC connection and simple SQL: SELECT ID, Name, Description from Account I get no records returned. recordset.recordCount = -1

In DBeaver, when I connect to the same ODBC connection and select * from Account, I get null values shown everywhere but the dates for every record show up. I'm seeing the right # of records returned in DBeaver.

This is very odd, but I need to get this working in VBA and can't seem to find anyone else on the internet using the DevArt ODBC Quickbooks driver in Excel VBA.

Please help!
