save current time to a time field in editor

Could you please advise how to save current time in a time field without opening list combo box with calendar. When you add new row to a table or edit prevously nulled time field it shows current time there (like in the image attached), but when you click tab or click away with a mouse it resets to a null. Is there a way to save the value without opening calendar?

Unfortunately, you have to click the 'Now' button in the calendar.

ok, thanks. Please consider a possibility to add time without opening a calendar for a future release.
