Hi
I would like to know which DB's support the background execution. Looking at website I can see that SDAC and ODAC support background execution. It's the same DB's in UNIDAC?
Is there any particular reason why this feature was not implemented in other DAC (PostgreSQL and MySQL)? If I'm not wrong, FireDAC supports the asynchronous execution/fetch in nearly all DB's.
Thx

Re: DB's supporting background execution (nonblocking)
Hello,
For the time being, the NonBlocking mode is implemented in SDAC and ODAC. It means that in UniDAC, you can use the NonBlocking mode when working with SQL Server and Oracle providers.
You can leave your suggestion at our UserVoice page at http://devart.uservoice.com/forums/1046 ... components , and if many users vote for your suggestion, we will implement it.
