Data Pump & FileMaker ODBC Issue

Post by acreative » Mon 29 Apr 2013 09:59

Hi All,

I am trying to use the Data Pump to import data from a FileMaker database to MySQL.

I have configured a ODBC connection OK. I can select and Test the Connection in the Data Import wizard successfully. However when I click next I get a alert box with a red cross but no message. The Source Table view remains blank.

Has anyone experienced this issue before? Any thought on what the error could be?

Many Thanks,
Chris

I have since worked on this further and discovered that there is an issue with the Filemaker 64-bit ODBC Driver not talking correctly to the 64-Bit Server.

Once I switched to a 32-bit OS, Server and Driver the error was resolved.

We were able to reproduce this issue and will fix it in one of the next builds of the product. We will notify you once it's available for downloading.

The appropriate error message should popup now. Please try the latest build 6.0.568 http://www.devart.com/dbforge/mysql/stu ... nload.html
