All toolbox items in VS2012 and VS2010 are gone

I really hate when I install something new and it hoses everything. After installing dotConnect ALL of my toolbox items are gone from VS 2010 and VS2012. I've tried resetting all of the setting. Nothing seems to get things back and I have no desire to put everything back manually. So, what do I do.

Thanks for the wonderful product (sarcasm) my already stressful weekend has just gotten a lot worse.

I rebooted and reset the tool boxes and everything came back...
