Bad Handshake on 64 bit Windows 2008 R2 Standard Server

Hi,

We are getting Bad handshake (08S01) as soon as we are trying to connect to the MySQL Server using the MyDAC Components.We have tried out connecting using 5.2 and 7 versions of MyDAC. MySQL Version is mysql-5.5.21-winx64 community edition. We compiled the application in both delphi 5 and delphi 2007 with both versions of mydac components as well. I able to connect to the mysql using the Workbench instead.

Please Suggest asap

Hello,

This error is already fixed in the version 6.10.0.7. Please remove MyDAC completely, as well as all .bpl, *.dcu, *.pas, etc. files, install the latest MyDAC version 7.1.4, and try to connectt again.
