dotConnect Universal 3.00 Released!

Dear users,Devart Team is glad to announce the release of dotConnect Universal (formerly known as UniDirect.NET).

Now dotConnect Universal offers support of new Devart dotConnect data providers, that is especially important for the users who upgraded their data providers earlier and want to use dotConnect Universal with them as well. The new version also offers bundled providers with advanced connectivity options, such as http tunneling, ssl and more.

dotConnect Universal introduces SQLite provider for working with SQLite - a software library that implements a self-contained, serverless, zero-configuration, transactional SQL database engine.

dotConnect Universal compatibility was extended by adding support for Visual Studio 2008 and Visual Studio 2010 Beta.

Mobile edition of dotConnect Universal no longer needs dotConnect providers installed.
Among other improvements, dotConnect Universal Server Explorer integration was enhanced.
