Beware the Autocomplete in the trigger editor

When creating a trigger procedure, it is handy to have the autocomplete function - usually.

But there is a time it is not.

Try typing in a statement like

Code: Select all

SET OLD.

It gets conveniently changed to

Code: Select all

SET OLD_PASSWORDS.

as soon as you press the .

and then you blithely type in the the rest of your column name.

So what is the meaning of:

Code: Select all

SET_OLDPASSWORDS.CustomerID

???
