If you double click on the dbForge icon in the quick launch bar, it is easy to get TWO copies of dbForgeStudio running simultaneously.
Alternatively, you run one copy, make edits, minimise all running programs to do something else, launch dbForge again (without realizing there is one running already), and make more edits on the same procedure, save and test them etc. Hours of your best work.
There is no warning, even if you end up editing the same stored procedure on each copy.
Then you close dbForge. And it seems to want to be closed twice for some unknown reason.
Ah, well - it must know best. Yes, save and exit a second time.
OOPS! The last one saved wins. And that was the early code from the beginning of the day. Ah, well - what is 10 hours work between friends!
PLEEEEASE do the standard Windows thing of preventing multiple copies running. You can lose a lot of work. (Ask me how I know.)
