Hi,
I am a user of MyDAC Versio 3.0.

My system was like this...

MyDAC Version : 3.0 for C++ Builder 6
MySQL Version : 3.23.54 for Windows


Few days ago I upgraded MySQL Version from 3.23.54 to 5.0.37.
After upgrading MySQL Version to 5.0.27, I can't connect MySQL...

I have two questions.

1. Can't I connect MySQL Version 5.0 with MyDAC Versio 3.0?
If no, I'll upgrade MyDAC...

2. I have a question about your MyDAC Version 5.0.
I wonder...
If install it, I can run my project files making previous version(3.0) without changing any codes.


Please let me know.

Please download the last version of MyDAC 3. It has a complete support of all MySQL protocols. You can download the last MyDAC 3 from the registered users are of our site for free. Please see your registration mail for details.

We make sure that new MyDAC versions are compatible with the previous ones. The new MyDAC versions just provide more extended functionality and higher performance. There should not be any problems in your application when upgrading MyDAC to a new version.
