CrDBGrid auto drop down

Is there a way to cause the drop down to drop in CrDBGrid when the column is selected or when typing starts?

TCRDBGrid's behaviour in your situation doesn't differ from TDBGrid's one (TCRDBGrid is a descendant of TCustomDBGrid). TDBGrid doesn't provide support of this feature and our grid either.
