Store Procedures and Mydac

Hi!
I continue my tests with Mysql 5, more necessarily on store procedures. Why the component of Store Procedures of the Mydac needs that one select always possesss the existing option "into" in the line of command SQL? Being that in Mysql 5, already it exists the possibility of if creating store procedures with "select" without the option "into".
