There are two possible reasons that could cause this problem. The first one is that installation pack of MyDAC becomes damaged while downloading. Try to download and install it once more. The second reason is a problem with compatibility of our installer and software/hardware installed on you notebook. Try to install MyDAC on another computer. Try to install MyDAC on your notebook with some options unchecked (e.g. try to install only documentation or only MyDAC for Win32 ).

Absolutely the same installation pack has no problems to be installed on other computers (with SP 1, SP2, or Windows 98). We tried to install the MyDac with all options unchecked and again the same trouble.... The Error occure at 49-th percent on DBAccess.dcu file everytime. May be the problem is in this file, but as i already said this pack has no problems on others computers. Here is PrintScreen of the problem....please help :) PrintScreen -> http://mydacerror.hit.bg/

1. Check if you have enough free space on the drive where the temporary directory is located.
2. If you have any antivirus software running, try disabling it when installing the product.

The computer is brand new and has only one drive( around 60 GB free I think). The antivirus is NOD32 but I disable it when i try to install MyDac....even try to install it in Safe mode....but again no results.... Then i disabled all staff in start up ( through msconfig), restarted the notebook and....again no result :) the 49-th percent is spoke in ours wheel
Please Help it's really some stupid problem....but don't know how to solve it

P.S. This Notebook is not the only computer which has trouble in installig the MyDac....is any chances a specific release of windows to be the problem?

Try to download MyDAC from our site one more time using another internet provider. If it won't help, compare software/hardware installed on computers where the problem with MyDAC installing appears to find out the same items.
