i have a problem and i hope can help me. i always have used mydac version 1.30 with delphi 7, And I never had any problem. 3 weeks ago, i update to mydac version 4.30.0.13, and now, my aplications some times show me this message "access violation at address 00409329 in module 'Project2.exe'. Read of Address 00a682e0" after than i used aplyupdates instruction. myquery is on cahed updates mode.

What's Wrong?

The information you have provided isn't enough. Try to localize the problem in your program and report us what exactly causes the problem. But the best way to report us about problems is to send us (evgeniyD*crlab*com) a complete small sample to demonstrate it, including script to create and fill table. Also supply us following information
- Exact version of Delphi
- Exact version of MySQL server and MySQL client. You can see it in Info sheet of TMyConnection Editor

Today I Discover somthing. I'm using myQuery in Cached Updates Mode, so, when i a make a change to the record, crdbgrid background color change to yellow (like ine the demo of cachedUpdates). When I was using mydac 1.30, to cancel, i was using myquery.refresh; to update, i was using myquery.applyupdates and myquery.refresh, and all works fine.

Now, I Update Mydac to 4.30, and this error it happens when i try myquery.refresh

I must use myquery.refreshrecord, and i need to find how the backgorund color of the record in crdbgrid return to white after than uses myquery.refreshrecord.

Possibly you have statements in some event handlers (BeforeRefresh, AfterRefresh, etc.) that change state of the MyQuery. This may be the reason. It's quite hard to exactly determine without example what causes the problem.

Please specify for what reason do you want to use this.
