Hello,

i've been working with mydac-trial (in delphi7 enterprise) for some weeks, and suddenly I always get this exception when trying to create a project that uses any of the MyDac components.

What could be the reason for this error ?
Could it be that the trial-version has expired?

Thx in advance.

Hi,

the problem appears after compiling the programm - the exception appears before the form appears.

I tested around and found out the problem doesn't exists on a new created windows user-account ?!

Thank you for any advice,
greets

I also am experiencing exactly the same problem. I downloaded the trial today. It installed ok and if you drop a connection onto a form it connects ok to the db. as soon as you try to run any app containing the components you get this av (before the form is created)

I'm using D5 enterprise

Any help gratefully received.

Most possibly this problem concerns trial protection. If you want we will send you another trial version of MyDAC by e-mail.

What I´m wondering about is that mydac worked fine for some weeks, and the error appeared 'suddenly'. Could it be anyway a problem with the trial version?

My employer just ordered a full version of mydac, but it would be nice if you send me another trial per email (b_wolf[at]gmx.net) anyway to test this out.

thank you
