I've just installed MyDAC (MySQL)- Version 8.3.7 into Delphi XE6. When the Delphi IDE is loading the following error occurs:
'Access violation - Datasetmanager200.bpl' - any idea why.

Problem solved.

It appears that the registry entry was incorrect or not there.
Registry Entry should be:
/Software/Devart/BDS/14.0 - NOTE - There was not entry for 14.0
Created the string value: ConfigFilePath
The content should be: C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Embarcadero\BDS\14.0\
Where [username] is your unsername. The directory is already there.

We have already fixed this problem and uploaded MyDAC again. Please download MyDAC once more.

I had same problem with dataset manager, but it only occurred when I launched RAD Studio XE6 from the windows taskbar throug a quick launch icon.

Just downloaded MyDac again and reinstalled it and the AV has disappeared.

A small pity is the new update is not detected by MyDac in the IDE and the version info has not been changed.

We uploaded not a new version, but a new build of MyDAC version 8.3.7, therefore the IDE didn't notified users of this version about the available upgrade.
