MySQL spatial extensions support

Hi, I found one single forum post from 2006 about MySQL spatial extensions support. There was a reply stating that back then, there was no support for it in in MyDAC.

Is that still the case now ? If there is still no support for it: Are there any workarounds and are you considering adding support for spatial types and functions ?

It would be greatly appreciated on my part, I very much like how MyDAC works but we must incorporate the use of MySQL spatial extensions in an application we are currently designing. If MyDAC has no support for that, I would sadly have to move on and find another solution, if there is one for Delphi in the first place of course.

At present MyDAC does not support MySQL spatial extensions.
You can leave your suggestion at our UserVoice page at http://devart.uservoice.com/forums/1046 ... components . Suggestions with many votes will be implemented faster.
