I just updated to MySQL 4.1 and so had to update to V3.55.0.22 of MyDAC, on recieving a message that it was incompatible with the Mybuilder Add-in I downloaded the latest version (1.0.10) and installed it.

Both MyDAC & MyBuilder were installed to the default directories

However the warning still exists and the 'about' shows no MyBuilder add-in available, and my application which ran perfectly till then, now crashes with a message " Access violation ........ Read address 0000001c" immediately on start

the connections work fine in the stand alone version of Mybuilder and in the BCB IDC

Wndows XP
Borland BCB builder6
MySQL 4.1.7-nt on local host

can anyone help?

Please try to reinstall MyDAC and MyBuilder.

Fixed!
Had to re-load the add-in before it would work ??????!

Typo there, I meant to say 'had to re-DOWNLOAD the add-in before it would fix the problem!'

should have used preview before sending --- What am I ???

Sometimes it might happen because of proxy errors, etc.
