MyDAC 5 requires Delphi 7 with two updates Build 8.1

Hi DevArt, i Install MyDAC 5.55.0.39 in Delphi 7 Enterprise Build 4.453 (RTM)

but i receive the exception in some cases "can't access field Type as Variant"

after a install the updates in the Delphi work's fine..

please infom in Download page, Delphi 7 requiries all updates
Build 8.1

i can send a small projet to you if necessary.

Please specify if this problem still exists in MyDAC version 5.70. Also if you can, send me a sample to demonstrate the problem.

Hi Dimon i produce a small movie and a project.

the problem exists in Last MyDac Build, but it's no a MyDAC problem.. it's caused for a Delphi out-of-date..

if i install the two updates in Delphi 7, the project work's fine.

Thank you for the detailed information.
This problem is connected with the behaviour of the TDBLookupComboBox component and not connected with MyDAC directly.

ok.. note.. updating Delphi to build 8.1 work's fine..
