(this post is intended for Mydac Documentation)

Myself i started out with Mydac when i was new to both Delphi and MySQL. I don't know if thats a category of potential customers that You are interested in, but in case You are I have a few suggestions:

1. The first steps was very good. To install and get something simple running was very easy, thats why i selected MyDac from the start.

2. No Guided Beginners Tour. Things like how to post data to a table, with or without transactions could be written here.

3. The examples/demos are sometimes very complicated and "shooting over the target". Try to focus on the MyDac thing that the example is trying to show. Keep everything else as simple as possible. All the other fancy stuff should belong to a "tip and trix" chapter. For someone new to all this, the examples get very confusing and takes long time to understand. Its hard to grasp to much at the same time.
