DBGrid or something else?

Hello All,
I would like to have something like a DBGrid that holds/displays data from my DB. But, I would like to be able to have a couple of cells that would work as pull-down lists. These cells would have different items that the user could select. Once selected I would like to have an execute button that updates the DB. I am sorry but I am a newbie. Even the smallest hint is most appreciated.
