images and checkboxes in CRDBGRID

One of the finest thing in CRDBRID is the filter /sorting option

But as far as I can see, it doesn't support images and checkboxes.
Will this be provided in the near future

It is unlikely that we will extend functionality of CRDBGrid in the near future, as this component is freeware, and no more developed.

That's unfortunately. But why is it still a part of MyDac and not a separate download like Virtualtable?. It's a good component for crlab components users, because of the filtering /sorting.
Will there be another DBGrid developed bu Corelab

Registered users of any DAC product can modify source code of TCRDBGrid to add required functionality. Users of trial DACs cannot.
We do not have in plans to develop visual controls.
