Why TCustomDADataSet.Options has property CompressBlobMode, and TCustomMSDataSet hasn't?
You have specially limited functionality?

What about SDAC Roadmap (fourth version)?

SDAC doesn't support compressed BLOBs.
This functionality will be added in the next SDAC version.
We are working on the new SDAC version but we can't specify a date of it's release.
Main new features are listed below
