Installation Problem (SDAC and MyDAC)

downloaded the latest versions of SDAC and MyDAC for D2005. Uninstalled old versions and installed new versions. started getting all sorts of errors starting and exiting delphi. Note that there were basically no problems when using the previous versions of SDAC and MyDAC.
starting errors:
Can't load package c:\program files\borland\bds\3.0\dclSdac90.bpl.
Can't load package c:\program files\addict3\bpl\addict3db_d9.bpl.
The specified module could not be found.
Do you want to attemp to load this package the next time a project
is loaded?
on exiting Delphi I get many Microsoft Send Error Report windows for Borland Developer Studio and many application errors and eventually have to use the task manager to get out of them.
Decided to simplify and uninstalled SDAC and MyDAC. checked Delphi starting and exiting -- no problems. Installed SDAC and got this on starting
Can't load package c:\program files\borland\bds\3.0\dclSdac90.bpl.
Can't load package c:\program files\addict3\bpl\addict3db_d9.bpl.
The specified module could not be found.
Do you want to attemp to load this package the next time a project
is loaded?
on exiting, i get an error message or two from Delphi.
How can I install these so I can use them again?

Removed c:\program files\borland\bds\3.0\dclSdac90.bpl in library paths and then manually added c:\program files\corelab\..\dclSdac90.bpl. Didn't work. Removed and added the original and Delphi would then start w/o errors. Installed MyDAC. Delphi still started w/o errors. Tried to compile/run program using MyDAC. Delphi and program simply disappeared! Cannot find in task list. I really do not want to reload Delphi and all my components so i hope you have a solution to this problem.

Most possibly you have some files left from previous version of our products on your hard drive. Try to uninstall MyDAC and SDAC and remove all files concerned to them. Then install MyDAC and SDAC one more time.
To remove all vestiges of MyDAC and SDAC, please follow these instructions:
1) Close IDE
2) Uninstall MyDAC and SDAC
3) Search for MyAccess.*, MSAccess.*, DBAccess.*, mydac*.bpl, sdac*.bpl, dac*.bpl etc files at your HDD and delete them
4) Remove from the registry (HKCU\Software\Borland\BDS\3.0\Known Packages, HKCU\Software\Borland\BDS\3.0\Known Assemblies) all the links to MyDAC and SDAC
5) Run IDE and check that it is started without errors
6) Install MyDAC and SDAC once more

followed your directions but did not erase MSACCESS.EXE which was in the MS Office\Office11 directory. Still got same problem. Unchecked the Addict (spellchecking) components in Design Packages and was able to start "normally". However, get bds.exe application errors, etc and microsoft wanting to send an error report when i exit. any other suggestions?

Please supply us with exact versions of MyDAC and SDAC you use.
Does the problem persists if you install only MyDAC or only SDAC?

MySQL Data Access Components
Version 4.30.1.17 for Delphi 2005
SQL Server Data Access Components
Version 3.70.3.30 for Delphi 2006 <====not 2005
I think your about page has the wrong Delphi on
it.
I get similar problems when i only have one installed.
Now when i start the MySQL components are unchecked
whereas the SQL Server components remain checked.

Thank you for information. We will fix this in the next SDAC build.
Please check if system variable PATH is not overflowed (you can get its value running following command: Set PATH >> C:\PATH_Value.txt). If it is not then please perform following steps, possibly the problem appears because third-party components have file(s) with the same name as MyDAC and SDAC have:
1. Uninstall Addict3, MyDAC and SDAC completely (disabling these components is not enough)
2. Install MyDac only
3. Check if MyDAC works well
4. If it does then install SDAC
5. Check if MyDAC and SDAC work well
6. If they do then send us a link for downloading Addict3 components to determine the reason of the problem
Also supply us with version of your operation system.
