SQL Server DAC Professional Edition

Hi,

If I purchase the SQL Server DAC with source, can this be modified to connect to other OLE DB dataproviders (access, excel, odbc) etc.

You can do it but not in contradiction with SDAC license agreement.
According to EULA you may not use any part of the source code of the componrnts (original or modified)
to build any other components for public distribution or commercial sale.
Please see full license agreement included into SDAC installation package.
