Hi,

I'm using BC5Pro to produce ISAPIs. I want to use SDAC to replace the BDE I'm using so I can use the encumbant SQL Database on Windows 2003 server.

Can I use SDAC to develop and test locally using MDSE and then upload to Windows2003 MS SQL without any trouble ?

Will the SDAC allow me to connect to Windows 2003 MS SQL

Thanks

Dan

Yes

SDAC supports SQL Server 7, SQL Server 2000 and MSDE.

SDAC requires OLE DB installed on workstation.
Note:
in current versions of Microsoft Windows, as Windows 2000,
OLE DB is already included as standard package. But it's
highly recommended to download latest version (newer than 2.5) of
Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) at
http://www.microsoft.com/data
