Error select on system tables in direct mode

Hello,
I tested new direct mode of SDAC. Selects against system tables (e.g. SELECT default_schema_name from sys.database_principals where name...) fail with error: not implemented yet.
Is this a restriction of direct mode or a bug?

Currently, Direct mode in SDAC is being improved. This functionality implementation is in progress and will be included in one of the next SDAC versions.
