Hi,

I just purchased the SDAC professional version with source for Delphi XE2 and selected to install the Migration Wizard, but it doesn't install the Migration Wizard and I can't find it. I installed on Windows 7 64 bit machine.

Would you please let me know where I can downlaod the Migration Wizard for SDAC for ADO.

Hello.

Perhaps you have installed the source code only. The MigrationWizard utility is not provided in the sources. To use it, you can download and install Professional Edition, that includes this utility, and then plug in SDAC sources.

The file I downloaded and used for installation is sdac66d16pro.exe. File version 6.6.11.0. Size 5.53MB (5,805,287 bytes).

During the installation, by default it has the Migration Wizard with the size of 0.3MB checked. I didn't change the checkmark. Prior to clicking on Install button in the final step of the setup program, I have the following.

After the install is finished I looked the Start Menu folder, I checked the entire C:\Program Files (x86)\Devart folder and there is no Migration Wizard program anywhere. I searched the entire computer, the only file I find is C:\Program Files (x86)\Devart\msmigwizard.dll. The program that calls this dll is missing and doesn't get installed on my computer.

The component itself is working in Delphi-XE2 with no issues.

I tried the trial version and it has the same result. The dll is created, but there is no Migration Wizard application.

Would you please try this on your end on a clean machine. Perhaps in the latest build the Migration Wizard is missing or is not installing. What is the name of the file? In what folder should I look for it? Is there a way I can download the migration wizard for Delphi-XE2 for ADO separately?

I really appreciate any help you can give me. I am very excited to try your great software against my huge application and see the result.

You can find Migration Wizard in the IDE menu [SDAC] -> [Migration Wizard] .
