I use delphi 7 and sdac ver:3 in win vista but in design time when i want to make connection true ,receive the error " wrong mdac version . download latest mdac version "
so i downloud new version of sdac from your site(demo ver 4.80) . Although the design time is not an error but at run time in connect to sql 2000 , error will be the same again.
please help. why this error? Elimination method is it? can sdac component use in Windows Vista or not ?

The latest SDAC build works with Windows Vista.
Please make sure that you are using the SDAC version in run-time, the same in design-time.
Or try to use the SQL Native Client provider, and set the TMSConnection.Options.Provider property to the prNativeClient value.
