Using DBEdit controls

I am using Delphi 7 with SDAC 3.80 and SQL Server 2005.

I am new to Delphi and I am having to convert a previous programmers code which uses Interbase to SQL Server databases using SDAC.

How do I get information from a table to display on a form using DBEdit controls?

ANY help is appreciated.
