Change protocol

My connection connects to SQL Server using local procedure calls (LPC). Is there a way to change the protocol used to TCP/IP instead? Thank you.

Which provider are you using to connect to MS SQL Server (prAuto, prSQL, prNativeClient, prMSOLEDB, prDirect)?
