Feature request- dropdown for possible values

It would be useful if the tool could run a query to get a list of valid values for a dropdown.

For example, say I'm editing the data in table Orders. There is a column OrderType, which has a set of valid values defined in the OrderTypes table. I would like the user to get a dropdown that only allows them to select the values in the OrderTypes table.
