Import problem!

Post by capetto » Fri 12 Jun 2015 06:50

Hello,
I'm trying the demo with SQL Server 2012 and Excel 2010. I have a problem when I try to select a table to manage from the list. I suppose the problem is the name of my database (it's a 4 digit code number) because if I try with another database and table with a different name I have no problems. In other similar situations I resolve this problem specifing the database name with a "[" "]" (for example 0123 --> [0123]) but this add-in does not allow me to change this parameter during the creation of a new connection. The error message is:

Incorrect syntax near '0438'.

Thank you,
Capetto

We have reproduced the issue. We will investigate it and post here about the results as soon as possible.

We have fixed the bug with quoting database names for SQL Server.

New version of Devart Excel Add-ins 1.1 is released.
It can be downloaded from http://www.devart.com/excel-addins/download.html (trial version) or from Registered Users' Area (for users with valid subscription only).
