Password visible in Connection string ODBC PostgreSQL

Hello

I am using the ODBC Driver for PostgreSQL in Excel on Mac.
I configured the System DSN and it worked.
I then created a new database connection in Excel using the ODBC.
After triggering it for the first time, I got a pop-up asking for the login and password to the database.
I added them but then I realized that they had been added to the connection string.
The login and password to our database is visible there and accessible to anyone who would get the excel file.

How could I change this?

Hi.
Unfortunately, we cannot influence the behavior of MS Excel, so if you do not want other users to see the password, then you have do not save it in the DSN, but enter it every time you establish a connection.
