Accessing SFMC business units within enterprise account with ODBC driver

Hi guys,

I have a question regarding Devart ODBC driver for back-end access to sales-force marketing cloud. My company is potentially looking to purchase licence(s) for your product but I have a question regarding access to business units within enterprise 2.0 account, details below:

When I connect to enterprise 2.0 account via your ODBC driver, the back-end tables that I am able to see all belong to the parent (main) account. What happens if I want to see the tables that belong to one of the business units under the main account? Is there a way to do this?

Please advise.

Thank you,
Dejan

I figured out the problem here, you need to have a user account that is specifically set to show only business unit, not the parent account.

Currently, Devart ODBC Driver for Salesforce Marketing Cloud supports authentication using a username and password. Therefore, after configuring the DSN, you will be able to get access only to those objects that belong to the user specified in the DSN. In the next version of our driver we will add AppCenterClient authentication.
