OSX ODBC Driver for MySQL <-> Tableau

Anyone had success running Tableau on an OSX desktop and connecting to a local MySQL database through the ODBC connector? I run the iODBC tests and they connect but Tableau generates an error when I try to connect through the app.

hello,

Such an error may appear if you are using our 32-bit driver. Since Tableau is a 64-bit application, it can work only with a 64-bit driver version.
