Hi,

do I need any installed DB2-Client to work with dotConnect for DB2?

Yes, dotConnect for DB2 requires IBM DB2 .NET Data Provider to be installed on your computer.

Do you plan a 'DirectMode' like dotConnect for Oracle the next time?

We will investigate the possibility of implementing connection without IBM DB2 .NET Data Provider but there is no timeframe.
