i cannot connect to my linux postgres server from windows 10/11 using the correct connection string.

I can connect using the same credentials in a powershell and cmd window. I have tested using a normal user and a superuser and it simply will not connect using DBForge. Can anyone advise?

Please, clarify what kind of error occurs?
