We currently use ODAC 3.3, our company is updating all versions of delphi to 2005 so we will need odac 5.5 (?), how much code changes are going to be needed?

At the most cases ODAC 5.50 provides cross-version compatibility. We are trying to extend ODAC interface without obsolete functions reducing, so you will need to do a minimum changes if you need to do them at all.
