Cannot open connection for read/write from VS 2005 on Oracle 8.17 database

I'm using the OraDirect .net data provider. When I configure the data source I can see my tables and fields, but when I click on advanced for the Advanced SQL Generation Options everything is grayed out. I'm having the same problem with the .Net Data Provider Framework for Oracle. I know that table has a primary key and I have selected it.
