Replacement for SQLMon

We have recently upgraded to Odac 11.2.5 with RAD Studio 10.4. Previously we were on Odac 5.80.0.42 with Delphi 7.
With the old version we were able to use Borland's sqlmon when our customers had unexpected problems to see what queries etc were being sent to the database however with the newer version this no longer appears to work instead just returning single characters that appear meaningless.
Can anyone suggest either a setting in the newer odac that would allow it to work as previously or point me in the direction of an alternative tool that would work?
