Hi!

I have tried to install the latest ODAC version but I have got "Fatal: Cannot find" compilation error messages:

DacReg.pas(35,39) Fatal: Cannot find: VirtualDataset, used by DacReg, incompatible ppu=/files/common/odac/Lib/Lazarus1/i386-linux/VirtualDataSet.ppu, multiple packages: dacvcl10, dac10, dcldac10

I could compile all other packages except "dclodac10".

Linux version is Ubuntu 10.10, but I don't think that it counts, because I have got similar error on the newest Opensuse Leap 42.1:

CLRClasses.pas(15,3) Fatal: Cannot find: CRtypes, used by CLRClasses, incompatible ppu=/files/common/odac/Lib/Lazarus1/i386-linux/CRTypes.ppu, dac10 package

Could you check that?

Thank you for the information. We are investigating the issue and will inform you as soon as any results are available.

I have tried to install different versions.
The latest version is 9.6.22 which was successfully installed on Lazarus 1.4.4 and FPC 2.6.4. I have got a similar error message first, but secondly it was installed without problem.

Please clarify whether you have managed to install ODAC in Lazarus 1.6 (FPC 3.0.0).

The new version (9.7.26) has successfully compiled with Lazarus 1.6 and FPC 3.0.0. I have tested the previous version again (9.7.25) and it has not.

We are glad to see the problem resolved. We are always working on improvement of our products and try our best to make every new version better than previous. Please don't hesitate to contact us with questions concerning ODAC usage.
