Kerberos authentication

Does ODAC support kerberos authentication through OCI ?

Hello,

We haven't checked for the possibility to use kerberos authentication in the OCI mode. You can check if it is possible to connect with ODAC trial version www.devart.com/odac/download.html .

AlexP, I am a licensed user.

I do not have access to Oracle DB with Kerberos/Advanced Security setup, but my customer just requested this feature. I created a small connection test program for my customer to try on his Kerberos enabled Oracle DB and he was not able to connect.
I thought Kerberos was transparent to the Oracle Client through OCI so it should work but it did not.

So I'm asking if ODAC supports Kerberos authentication. Oracle and OCI it self certainly supports Kerberos.

Unfortunately, we don't have access to such servers too. If you give us test access, we will check for such possibility.
