Hello,
when connecting by direct TCP/IP using an IPv6 FQDNS name, port number and SID you get an error "Net: invalid port". Probably the reason is that the FQDNS name contains colons ( : ) itself.
Does the direct TCP/IP option parse the connect string for colons from left to right or from right to left?
IPv6 address look like 2001:0:5ef5:79fb:c91:a6e:f5b6:bf83

Hello
IPv6 is currently not supported in the Direct mode, but we plan on adding IPv6 support in the nearest future. For now you can use the OCI mode to connect using IPv6. Also you can can add a suggestion about IPv6 support to our User Voice (http://devart.uservoice.com/forums/1046 ... 915-oracle). If your suggestion gathers enough users votes, it will be implemented before others features.
