oracle change version 8 to 9

Hi !
We are now with oracle 8 with odac 3.00.0.11 for c++ builder 5.
We install our application on another server with oracle 9i and it doesn't work ( connection problem to the database )
Can you explain this?

I suggest you to upgrade you ODAC to the last version (3.90.0.61) and try to
reproduce your problem with it. If the problem persists please inform us.
