My company is planning to turn on encryption on our Oracle server. I have written numerous programs that connect to the Oracle server using direct connection so the Oracle Client is not required.

Does or will ODAC support direct encrpted connections to an Oracle server?

We will investigate the possibility of adding this feature in one of the next builds/versions of ODAC.
